The Patron himself is recognised and respected as an icon of development through Education under the most trying circumstances. He established the Jacob Zuma RDP Educational Trust over a decade ago to  help orphans and underprivileged children to attend school and higher learning institutions.The Jacob Zuma RDP Educational Trust has since been the first beneficiary of the JGZF, because of its cause.

Applying For a Busary 

Learners and students seeking support from the Bursary Programme, need to supply the following information:

  1. Front page of SA Identity Document;

  2. Telephonic contact numbers;

  3. Residential Address;

  4. Copy of Matriculation Certificate, if applicable

  5. Preferred course of Study;

  6. Preferred primary, secondary or tertiary institution;

  7. Supply copies of any correspondence with educational institutions

Adopt a Student

JGZF supports over 1,000 learners and students, throughout the country. Students on the Bursary Programme typically originate from rural, impoverished communities and require consider support to make the adjustment to university. You can make a valuable contribution in the lives of such students, by making monetary donations towards:

  • Fees
  • Accommodation
  • Transport
  • Food
  • Books

In addition, you could serve in a mentoring role to a particular student sponsored.JGZF will provide mentoring guidelines, should this aspect of support appeal to you and your particular skills set.
